I
began digital painting in 2004/5 after taking courses with the Visual Arts
Academy (VAA) and Learning Virtual Studies (LVS)
To
date I've completed courses in Basic Painting, Advanced Painting and
Fine Artsw with complete courses in Introduction to Painter, Layers,
Collage and Portraiture, along with HTML.
My
history of the arts began when I was in school drawing which I loved to
do. Later I went to Art Classes in the College I attended for my
trade as a Hair Stylist.
In
later years, I dabbled a little with oils and acrylics, but never
realising that much later I would be able to draw and paint on a
computer, let alone share over the internet.
I have painted with PhotoImpact
software, a little with PhotoShop and now my software of choice is Corel
PainterX/11. Painter has opened a totally new wrold for me in digital
art. It has brushes that emmulate those of real media that enables
a person to create some wonderful, creative pieces of art.
In
November 2008 I will begin teaching classes in LVS - Online, Where
Learning is Fun! The classes are: Introduction to
Painter Brushes and if you wish to partake of the class, visit LVS
